Education:
Studies in Classical Trumpet at the State Conservatory in Feldkirch (Austria)
Studies in Jazz Trumpet at the University of Arts Bern/Swiss Jazz School (Switzerland)
Studies in Arts Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna/IKM. (Austria)
Professional Career:
Trumpet teacher at the College of Music in Dornbirn and member of the Symphony Orchestra of Vorarlberg/Austria (2000 – 2004)
Trumpet substitute in the Bern Symphony Orchestra/Switzerland (2004 – 2006)
Cofounder and musical director of the Jazzorchester Vorarlberg/Austria (Since 2005)
Freelance musician & composer based in Vienna/Austria (Since 2006)
Awards:
Winner of first prizes in austrian competitions (Prima La Musica, Musik in kleinen Gruppen, Jugend Musiziert) at the regional and national level (1991 – 2000)
Winner of the Hans Koller Preis in the category Newcomer of the Year with the collective Jazzwerkstatt Wien (2006)
Austrian Music Award (Amadeus) Nomination for the CD „Elegant“ with „Die Strottern & Jazzwerkstatt Wien“ (2009)
